I made it through my first semester of nursing school. YEAH!!! And I got good grades. :) This semester has been different. My classes were pretty easy, therefore I had no motivation to do anything and I wouldn't do anything. That is very bad, and it often showed on my test scores. Luckily enough I got A's and A-'s. :)
I have had more time this semester to be social, which has been nice. Finally in my third year of college I have had time to hangout with people and be social, it's amazing. Shelly, Scott, and I went to the Season 5 So You Think You Can Dance Concert. It was pretty darn amazing. I sat in the fourth row right in front of the stage. It was the perfect seat. Shelly and Scott were in the 11th row, not as good as mine. We are all looking forward to the next concert because we LOVED everyone in the top 10.
I have loved not having school for the past couple days. I have seen more movies in the past couple days that I have in the past year. :) I tend to waste my time, which in a way is very nice. Next week I will be more productive, and make and do things. Although I did clean my room this week, which makes me happy I hate it when it is messy.
I think that's all for now. If you have any questions feel free to ask. But all together I am doing fantastic. :)

Here on some pictures that I've taken this past semester. I thought I would share them with all of you. :)
Here is a picture that I took right as I walked out of the Temple last week. It was beautiful as the sun reflected on the lake.
This is a picture I took on campus. I wanted the trees to be more colorful but they hadn't fully changed yet. Oh well.
I pulled over to take this picture. I love pretty sunsets.
Here is a rainbow. There is a really light second one right above the bright one. The rainbow actually went across the entire sky, but I wasn't far enough away to get the whole thing. It took three pictures to get the whole thing. This was the best shot of all of them though.

Michaels Photo Entry - Grandma's Stockings
Hey, I just entered our families stocking into a competition to win a trip to New York. Shell, Julie, and I dcided that we could win. The only problem is that there are only two days left of the competition and we need people to give us good ratings on our project, and high ratings. Please we would love to win. Go to this website and look under "Grandma's stockings" it is the purple hand beaded stocking that shelly and I made for Cailey. :)

On the way home from FHE tonight we were listening to the radio and the last song that came on was "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and it reminded me of this that Shelly showed me a while ago. It is so funny I hope you enjoy.

Gayle Borg Groo
Gayle Borg Groo is someone whom I got to spend a lot of time with from August 2007 to December 2008 and even after that I tried to visit her and make her cards. She passed away last week and this morning I went to her funeral, which was beautiful. She was an amazing woman. While I was taking care of her I was also going to school. She would ask me questions about how school was going and I would tell her. Then she would encourage me to get to work and do my homework and study. While I was studying she would either take a nap or watch "Murder She Wrote," she owned a couple seasons on DVD. In the times that I wasn't studying I would read her the Book of Mormon or talks from the Ensign. I even started reading her "The Goose Girl" which then got me hooked on all of the books written by Shannon Hale, who is the author of that book, and I ended up buying almost every book she has written. :)
I regularly took her to the chiropractor, or hair appointments and then we would proceed to Wendy's where she would eat chicken nuggets and drink root beer, and I would a junior bacon cheeseburger, fries, and lemonade. We would talk about things and then be on our way when we finished.
She was a wonderful lady and I am extremely grateful that I was able to meet her and take care of her for the short time that I did. I thought of her as a grandmother and loved going to spend time with her. I didn't learn a lot about her in the time that I spent with her but I knew that she had a sweet spirit. I will miss her very much.
This is a picture of her when she was younger.
This is her with her family. This is what she looked like when I knew her. Her lovely daughter, Pam Peterson, who is sitting on her right was the one that asked me to help take care of her mother. She knew I was a CNA (certified nurses assistant) and knew that I could help out with her mothers needs. I am indeed grateful that she trusted me enough to ask me to take care of her mother, and I am grateful that she did because I met one of the most amazing people in the world. (Pam was my drama teacher in high school and I have known her for years.)
This is a picture of Pam and Gayle. I am really sad that I never got any pictures of me with Gayle, but there is nothing that I can do about that so I am living through pictures I found of her on facebook. :)
Thank you to the Peterson's and the Lockwood's for sharing your mother/grandmother with me for a short time.

I Just Haven't Met You Yet
Somewhere out there is the man of my dreams. I know that someday I will find a man who is amazing and is everything that I need/want (or at least I hope so.) I don't feel the need to get maried right away, although if I find someone sooner than later that is all right with me. This last week as I was flipping through radio stations on my way home from school I heard this song and thought immediately about my life. :) I have listened to this song over and over and I love it. So here is the music video. I hope you enjoy.
